Center for the Art Students Design for the Metaverse!
Where is the world heading? The planet almost shook when people started hearing about the metaverse, the new revolution, or the next revolution of the internet. AUC Center for the Arts and the Virtual Experience Lab at AUC's School of Sciences and Engineering have been encouraging students to research and develop concrete and creative ideas about such a topic. It all begins when students study the spatial network of the metaverse and their ability to design their visions. The sky is the limit? Now with the metaverse and augmented realities, the metaverse is the limit.
Designers now design new conceptual and transformational retail experiences by designing on-ground retail spaces. Designers are able to create what would have been called impossible in the past, designing for the metaverse, where a universal world is being designed by the use of virtual reality.
Students enter the metaverse by creating the futuristic multi-sensory aspects that the designed world needs. Starting with sketches and reaching 360 degrees of spatial virtual reality experience that focuses on imagination, creativity and design thinking.
Imagine having your own jewelry brand built and designed on the moon. Why imagine it, when it is already explored and implemented by AUC designers in the Graphic Design program?
